I am often asked on what to do, to get a kit with longer profiles!

The mechanics kit is fix set to 500mm for X- and Y-axis. If you want to have longer profiles, we have created the root-kit instead. This contains only the profile of the Z-axis. All sets include the Pullys and the MakerSlide for the Z-axis! All other profiles must be placed in the desired length in addition into the cart.


2x equal length MakerSlide profile for the Y-axis, 2x equal length MakerSlide profiles for the X-axis and 2x equal length 20x20mm profiles for the frame. The frame profiles have to be 60mm longer than the MakerSlides for the X-axis.

Then you need the timing belt. This is calculated as follows: 2x Y-axis + 1x X-axis + 26 (all in cm)).

Example: For a router with the dimensions 1000x700mm you need (2x100 + 1x70 + 26) = 296 cm timing belt. The timing belt is always delivered in one piece.

For a complete kit (incl. electronics) are already 4x 500mm MakerSlides and the frame profiles in the set. Here you have only to add the additional lengths to your shopping cart. For a complete set with 1000x700mm you have to add 2x 500mm + 2x 200mm MakerSlides and 2x 200mm 20x20 frame profile to your shopping cart. Additionally you have to add (2x 50 + 1x 20) = 120 cm timing belt.

You can see the total price in the shopping cart incl. the shipping to your country. Please keep in mind that the calculated price only applies for orders up to 120 cm and 10 kg. And this means, the package may not exceed 120cm. So the max. length for the profiles should be 1150mm. Anything above that has to be charged additionally.
